Sam Ntiros is a registered patent attorney and electrical engineer with over twenty years of experience assisting domestic and overseas corporations in developing and protecting their intellectual property portfolios. Mr. Ntiros has also held a security clearance for purposes of performing classified patent work for the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Ntiros’ principal practice areas include preparing and prosecuting patent applications covering internet, API, and other computer-related network technologies, software, wireless and satellite communications systems and standards, smart phones and tablets, displays and televisions (plasma, OLED, QLED, LCD, flexible), imaging systems, semiconductor device, memory, and fabrication technologies, integrated, digital, and analog circuits, battery management systems, and various forms of digital signal processing.

Sam Ntiros also assist clients in providing patentability, infringement, and invalidity opinions and design-around strategies. He also has experience in appellate practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and performs due diligence review, licensing, and litigation support. Mr. Ntiros has also spoken on selected intellectual property topics including business-method patents, Federal Circuit en banc decisions relating to claim construction, development of prosecution history estoppel under Festo, indirect infringement (inducement and contributory), means-plus-function claiming and software patent protection under § 101. Mr. Ntiros has also trained foreign corporate patent agents in U.S. patent practice.

Before becoming a lawyer, Sam Ntiros worked as an engineer developing and analyzing image processing data for various DOD-related military contracts.
